Covers unincorporated hamlets: Tappan, Blauvelt, Sparkill, Orangeburg, Pearl River, Palisades, and (since 2022) South Nyack. Villages of Nyack, Piermont, and Grand View-on-Hudson have separate building departments.
Areas near the Hudson River and Sparkill Creek have FEMA flood zone designations. Pearl River and Blauvelt are generally not flood-affected.
