New Square

New Square, founded in 1954 by Hasidic Jews from Eastern Europe, has 8,553 residents. It's one of the few all-Hasidic villages in the United States, characterized by high population density, a Yiddish-speaking community, and strict adherence to traditional Jewish customs.
